What is the minimum admission age?
The minimum age for all courses is 16. Students coming within a closed group with an adult group-leader can be under 16.
What do I have to take with me to the Institute on the first day of classes?
On the first day of classes at Derzhavin Institute students are asked to have passport (with Russian visa), immigration card, one small photo (for the student card) and great desire to start learning Russian language.
What is included in the Tuition fee?
Tuition fee Includes: tuition as specified, written and oral placement test, teaching materials, certificate on course completion, some social activities (Russian Craft Lesson, Russian Song Lesson, and Watching Russian Films)
What is a registration fee?
Registration fee is paid once (upon enrollment on all the courses). It covers visa support and registration costs, student ID, welcome information folder, free unlimited e-mail and internet access, supplementary tee and coffee service.
Is the Institute closed for any holidays?
Derzhavin Institute is closed on the following public holidays: FEB 23; MAR 8, MAY 1, 9; JUN 12; NOV 4. The Institute is also closed for Christmas holidays from December 29 2008 till January 12 2009.
There is no reduction in fees when a course includes a public holiday. Compensation is only provided for Individual Courses.
